What is a Car Stopper?

A car stopper is a blocking material made from metal, rubber, plastic, or PVC, used to determine the stopping distance in parking areas. Parking stoppers are also known by various names such as wheel stopper, parking vehicle stopper, parking post, or rubber stopper. For cars, the stopper usually starts at 180 cm in length, while for buses and vans, parking posts of at least 300 cm in length are preferred. In car parking spaces, the height of the stopper should not exceed 12 cm to prevent contact with the vehicle’s undercarriage.
